Hey there thanks for taking the ‘Are You Making The Most of Your Money Quiz’ let me offer you some free tips based on what you scored.

You scored 0 - 20:

Don’t bet yourself up for a start. Its not like they sat us down at school and taught us simple money management. The good news is that there are some really simple things that you can do to make more of your money.

Firstly take some time to get really clear for yourself what it costs you to live each month. Worry and anxiety around money can often be caused by just not knowing.

If what you need to spend each month is more than you earn then you’ll need to make some changes to your spending to make it sustainable.

If however you find that you are earning more than you need to live then there is a real opportunity to start doing more with that money. Try putting that ‘leftover’ amount into a separate bank account at the start of each month or whenever it is that you get paid.

Do a review of your spending and see if there is anything that you don’t need or are overpaying for - that way there will be even more to set aside.

Setting the money aside at the start of the month rather than the end of the month means that you are less likely for it to simply disappear.

Seems like you have managed to be saving some of your money but perhaps not as much as you’d like or maybe it still feels like there isn’t quite enough for the things that are important to you. You still don’t feel quite in control of it or have the freedom to spend on the things that you really want to.

If you haven’t already I would set up an emergency fund to protect your savings from life’s up and downs. You may already have this money saved but its worth moving it into an account that is only for emergencies.

Now this is the controversial thing - how about splitting your savings so that part of the money you save each month is going towards fun stuff, stuff that makes you happy?

Sounds like you’ve got this money stuff handled, did you take the quiz just to see how high you could score?

I’m joking, maybe it still sometimes feels like your system takes up too much time and energy or maybe you are saving so hard that you are forgetting to spend and enjoy life. Try allocating some of your money to a fun pot and getting really clear on what your goals are.
